Step 2: Creating Plaster Casts

Once the alginate sets, we create a plaster cast using the same material doctors use to cast broken bones. Once the plaster hardens the casts and alginate are removed from the model, creating a reverse replica of the head.

A plaster head is made using these molds, which we sculpt, refine and then use to make the master mold.
